ASSISTANCE 

Thank you for your interest in sending a camper to Longview Summer Camp! We want every child to have the opportunity to attend one of our incredible Overnight Camps because we know that lives are enriched at Longview. As we share the love of Jesus through fun, friendship, and adventure, we pray that God changes lives for the longview of eternity.

 

To apply for Financial Assistance, please complete the Financial Assistance Application HERE. Once we receive your application, we will respond within two weeks. To receive Financial Assistance, we require registration for camp and a minimum payment of the $100 registration deposit. Register for camp here.

 

Our Financial Assistance Committee seeks to help in every way we can and we encourage each family to pay as much toward the cost of camp as they can. Financial Assistance is primarily based on financial need and life circumstances. You will be asked to provide a full description of specific needs and/or special circumstances to be brought to the attention of the Financial Assistance Committee of Longview. Longview reserves the right to approve or deny assistance as well as place financial assistance recipients in camp sessions based on availability and enrollment. 

 

If we are not able to provide Financial Assistance and your camper is unable to attend camp because of that, we will refund your deposit.

Who is eligible?

Everyone. We welcome applications from all families facing financial hardship, regardless of the reason. While we prioritize first-time applicants to expand our reach, returning families are still eligible and encouraged to apply. If the cost of camp is the only thing keeping your child from joining us, please submit an application.

Where does the funding come from?

Our assistance program is funded entirely through the generosity of donors, local businesses, and fundraising events. It is not drawn from standard registration fees.

Do I have to register for camp before I fill out the application?

Registration is not required to apply for financial assistance. However, please be aware that receiving assistance does not automatically reserve a space in a camp session. Your spot and the associated assistance are only finalized once you complete registration and pay the deposit. Because our funds and session spaces are limited, we recommend registering promptly to ensure your allocation can be used.
